About Me

I’m Happy You’re Here.

Welcome, Friend! I’m Stephanie, a millennial therapist and new mom who helps women navigate the beautiful, messy, and chaotic seasons where it feels like a quarter-life crisis arrived right on cue.

Between balancing a career, managing a household, and navigating the massive identity shifts that come with breakups, career pivots, or motherhood, it's easy to lose yourself in the shuffle.

Maybe you've been questioning who you are outside of diaper changes. Maybe you're drained by the career or relationships that once fueled you. Or maybe you simply feel lost or stuck and know something needs to change. I've been there. And that’s exactly why I do this work.

You’ve spent long enough taking care of everyone else, and it's time to put you back on your priority list.

my approach

Think big sister energy, but with a therapy degree.

Therapy with me is a zero-judgment zone. Think of it like talking to your most trustworthy friend—if your friend also happened to have a whole lot of clinical training.

Because you’re more than what’s happening in your head, we’ll look at the whole you. Think of it as where the woo and the work collide: blending evidence-based therapy with nervous system work, mindfulness, somatic approaches, and practical tools you'll actually use in your real life.

And it all starts with a virtual coffee. We’ll chat about what’s going on, where you want to go, and figure out your next best step—together.

Here’s What Working Together Can Look Like

You’re doing your best to keep it together, but secretly, you might be thinking:

  • "I’m tired of wasting time just venting without getting any actual results."

  • "I need real feedback and gentle honesty, not a cold interviewer who just nods."

  • "I can't handle this on my own anymore; everything is piling up and I'm at a breaking point."

  • "I don't just want to talk about my past—I need a strategic game plan for today."

  • "I want to feel truly seen and understood without feeling judged or like just a number."

Here's How It Works

step one

Test the Vibe

Not ready to dive in just yet? Start with a zero-pressure intro call. Ask your questions, tell me what’s going on, and see if I’m the therapist you’ve been looking for.

step two

do the work

We’ll get curious about what’s keeping you stuck and create a plan to help you make meaningful changes you’re actually excited about.

step three

Feel the Shift

This is where the magic happens. Take what we uncover in therapy into real life, experience real growth and finally feel more like the woman you want to be.

Therapeutic Frameworks & Approach

My approach blends practical tools, emotional depth, and a little bit of the “woo” to help you move forward in a way that actually feels supportive and sustainable.

Integrative approach

I draw from multiple therapeutic approaches to create a treatment tailored to your unique needs, combining techniques from different modalities depending on what's most helpful for your specific concerns so therapy can adapt as your needs change.

Perfect for: Complex challenges that don't fit one box, people who want a personalized approach, or when you need flexibility as your life evolves.

Somatic Therapy

Tune into your physical sensations and release stored tension through breathwork, movement, or mindful body awareness because trauma and stress live in your body, not just your mind.

Perfect for: Managing chronic tension and screen fatigue, reconnecting with your body, or anyone who thinks their feelings instead of feeling them.

DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)

Build practical skills to manage intense emotions and improve your relationships through mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and communication.

Perfect for: Managing burnout, handling emotional overwhelm, or stopping impulsive decisions you later regret.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Develop a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and feelings by learning to observe your experiences without judgment and respond more skillfully to stress.

Perfect for: Managing anxiety and racing thoughts, reducing digital overload, or when you want to be present instead of always "on."

ACT (Acceptance & Commitment) Therapy

Learn to accept difficult thoughts and feelings while still moving toward what matters to you, noticing your worries without letting them control your choices.

Perfect for: Managing imposter syndrome, overcoming rejection sensitivity, or silencing your inner critic.

Solution-Focused Therapy

Use your strengths and what's working for you to create the changes you want in practical, action-oriented sessions designed to get you real results without years of therapy.

Perfect for: Times you feel stuck, need to break through a creative block, or want results fast.

Person-Centered Therapy

Lead the conversation and explore whatever feels most important to you in a judgment-free space where you're the expert in your own life.

Perfect for: Navigating life transitions, exploring your authentic identity, or when you need space to figure things out your way.

Narrative Therapy

Separate yourself from your problems and rewrite your life story by exploring how your family and culture shaped your identity, then reclaiming the narrative you actually want to live by.

Perfect for: Processing change, navigating major life pivots, or when you're ready to rebrand your life.

Solution-Focused Therapy

Use your strengths and what's working for you to create the changes you want in practical, action-oriented sessions designed to get you real results without years of therapy.

Perfect for: Times you feel stuck, need to break through a creative block, or want results fast.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your rates?

2026 Rates

50-minute Individual Therapy Session: $150 CAD

75-minute Individual Therapy Session: $200 CAD

My current rates reflect my Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) status and may change periodically as my practice grows.

Do you accept insurance?

It depends on your extended health benefits plan. Many plans cover psychotherapy or services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist, but coverage varies by provider.

While I don't offer direct billing, I'll provide a receipt after each session that you can submit for reimbursement.

I recommend checking with your insurance provider before booking to confirm whether services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) are covered under your plan.

Where are you licensed to practice?

I provide virtual therapy for adults living in:

Ontario

British Columbia

Alberta

Manitoba

Saskatchewan

Do you offer in-person sessions?

My practice is 100% virtual, allowing you to attend sessions from the comfort of your own home.

If we start working together and you decide virtual therapy isn't the right fit, I'm happy to help you find an in-person therapist in your area. No hard feelings.

Do you only work with women?

Not at all! While much of my work and website speaks directly to millennial women, I welcome clients of all genders and identities. Many of my current and past clients have been men, and my practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming. If you connect with my approach and think we might be a good fit, you’re absolutely welcome here.

Do you work with couples or children?

At this time, I work exclusively with adults (18+) in individual therapy.

What do you mean by "Modern Therapy"?

I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation—not a clinical checklist.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. Some sessions might involve exploring your past, while others focus on practical tools, nervous system regulation, or working through what's happening in your life right now.

I'm also human. I show up authentically, speak candidly, and, when it's genuinely helpful, may thoughtfully share parts of my own experience to support your growth.

What therapeutic approaches do you use?

I take an integrative, evidence-based approach, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities rather than relying on a single framework.

Every person is different. Some people benefit from practical strategies and structure, while others need space to process, reflect, and gain insight. Most need a combination of both, and together we'll find the approach that works best for you.

How do I know if we're a good fit?

The therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of positive outcomes. That's why I offer a free introductory call—to answer your questions, learn more about what you're looking for, and help us both decide whether working together feels like the right fit. It should feel like a conversation, not a commitment.
