Nice to meet you, I'm Stephanie

I help adults with ADHD navigate the messy middle — the career pivots, the relationship shifts, the "wait, who am I now?" moments — with strategies that actually work for the way your brain runs.

A bit about me

I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and someone who gets it from both sides of the room.

I work with adults who are smart, capable, and completely exhausted by how hard they have to work just to function the way the world expects.

A lot of my clients came to therapy thinking something was fundamentally wrong with them. What we usually find instead is that they've been spending enormous energy trying to be someone they were never built to be — and that that's what's exhausting. Not them.

If you're in the middle of a big life change and your ADHD is making it ten times harder, you're in the right place.

If you like stories, I've got one for you...

A few years ago, the life I'd worked hard to build fell apart. The business. The marriage. The whole identity of "having it all."

From the outside, everything seemed fine...but inside, I was burnt out and watching my life completely unravel.

Life transitions are hard for everyone. But when your brain runs on ADHD, they hit different — because so much of what kept you functional was routine, structure, a clear sense of who you were. Strip that away and it's not just grief. It's cognitive chaos. It's paralysis that looks, from the outside, like not trying hard enough.

What I didn't know then: the way I was falling apart wasn't weakness. My nervous system was just running on empty inside a brain that had already been working twice as hard as anyone realized.

That breaking point became a turning point.

I didn't rebuild the same life. I started over slower, more honest, more me. I went back to school to become a therapist — because I believe the most useful thing I can do with everything I've been through is sit across from someone who's in the middle of it and say: I know what this actually feels like.

I do this work because I know what it's like to feel behind. To carry quiet doubt about whether you're cut out for the life you want.

You are. You just need support that actually fits how your brain works.

Why Work With Me

Most therapists understand mental health. Most ADHD coaches understand productivity.

Very few focus on both.

My background means I understand:

  • The grief that comes with a late ADHD diagnosis (or no diagnosis at all)

  • Why life transitions are disproportionately hard when your executive function is already stretched thin

  • The difference between "I'm overwhelmed" and "my nervous system is genuinely maxed out"

  • Why the strategies that work for everyone else just… don't work for you

What therapy with me actually looks like

You won't get a generic coping skills handout.

You won't spend six sessions talking about your childhood before we figure out why you can't seem to get out of the job that's killing you.

What you will get: a therapist who takes your brain seriously, helps you understand why you work the way you do, and works with you to build something that holds — even when life shifts underneath you.

Because life transitions aren't just logistics problems. They're identity problems.

And your ADHD is part of that story, not separate from it.

A Few Fun Things
